Our heritage
At the confluence of the Tarn and the Jonte rivers, many small villages have very diverse monuments and wonders.
Castles from the XIth and the XIIth centuries are restored.
Roman churches can be found in villages ; in others, typical winding streets.
Villages of cave-dwellers lounge at the bottom of cliffs.
A few restored caussenarde farms have been turned into gites, bed and breakfasts, inn farms or in museums.
Many points of view hang over the valleys and offer wonderful landscapes ; walking paths cross the great spaces of the Causses or follow the Tarn and the Jonte river cliff roads.

Interlocked with one another, the Lozère and the Aveyron counties will make you dream and discover the legends of these two regions administratively linked.
