Get to the heart of nature and discover the fascinating life of insects. Micropolis contains 15 exhibition rooms, a 3D cinema, an exhibition on "garden insects", a restaurant and a shop, all in a 2,400m2 building of exceptional architectural interest. You can observe more than 70 living species thanks to the butterfly house, the giant anthill, the vivarium room, the pond… You can also see the “Carnival of the Insects”, a nature trail in the grounds with 12 stops each as surprising as it is amusing. The young entomologist’s notebook is available free to the over-5s. New for 2012: Creation of a multimedia room! Using the latest technology, an interactive tactile wall will allow visitors to explore, manipulate and share the fascinating world of the ants and other social insects.
